Agile and CMMI, are They Good Bedfellows?
Rebecca McKaughan, Chief Consultant / Agile Coach / Trainer, RAM Quality Solutions, LLCT
Short Narrative/Description:
- Over the years the software development community gained the misperception that a program cannot be Agile and receive a good (Level 3 or higher) CMMI appraisal. Rebecca McKaughan will alleviate this misperception by discussing how Agile artifacts cohesively map to CMMI Process Areas. Receive a brief introduction to Agile, including the artifacts (documentation) created, and see how these Agile artifacts map directly to the CMMI Process Areas. Ms. McKaughan will walk you through a case study of a program that moved from Waterfall to Agile while maintaining their CMMI Level 3 accreditation.
