Speaker Background:
Ms. Beth Leonard is an award-winning speaker in her field; frequently invited to both local and international-level industry events to speak about such topics as customer satisfaction, organizational statistical analysis and metrics development, CMMI, ISO, management reviews and techniques, as well as quality assurance. She is also a recognized patient advocate and blogger for NET Cancer; supporting several organizations both nationally as well as internationally.
Ms. Leonard is a well-respected executive with over 24 years of IT software development and service management lifecycle expertise as well as InfoSec/Cyber management, facility security management, risk and compliance, quality assurance, and process improvement experience across the government contracting industry. She has numerous certifications including ITIL Expert – Trainer – and Proctor, ISO Lead Auditor (ISO standards: 9001, 19011, 20000-1, 27001), A2LA accredited ISO/IEC 17020:2012 assessor, Six Sigma Black, and PMP, and has strong experience in CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC, FedRAMP, and NIST SP 800.171/800.53 security controls. In conjunction, she is a certified FSO; understanding both industrial and cyber/information security best practices.
Ms. Leonard has implemented and maintained customer satisfaction programs, organizational metrics programs based on Six Sigma methods, as well as corporate and project level quality and process programs based on best practices from ISO, ITIL, PMPBOK, and the CMMI frameworks and standards.
Ms. Leonard has had numerous successful appraisals for both CMMI for Services (Maturity Level 3) and CMMI for Development (Maturity Level 5) as well as multiple ITIL and ISO implementations — including single and integrated management system certifications for quality (ISO 9001), service (ISO 20000), and information security management (ISO 27001).
