ASQ Section 0511 September 2020 Meeting Announcement

From an old poem:

For want of a nail the shoe was lost;
For want of a shoe the horse was lost;
For want of a horse the battle was lost;
For the failure of battle the kingdom was lost —
All for the want of a horse-shoe nail.

For want of a speaker no one attended an ASQ 0511 section meeting;
For want of an ASQ 0511 section meeting there was neither a chair nor chair-elect for the next year;
For want of a chair or chair-elect for the next year there was no section leadership;
For want of section leadership the section lost its certification;
For want of section certification the section was disestablished —
All for the want of a speaker.

A Call for Leaders

Short Narrative/Description:

We would like to have anyone who has ever had an interest in holding a position on the Section Leadership Committee join us to go over the types of positions that are available, the job descriptions, and ask any questions you may have. We have several spots available and we would love to get to know you and have you assist us.

There are many ways you can earn RU's toward recertification and one of those is in serving your section. It's a great way to make friends, network, stay involved, and exercise your quality muscles.
