"Challenges for Training Software TestersJesse RosenthalSet the criteria for hiring your internal testing team - or prepare your own software development team for a dose of independent validation and verification testing by understanding how a test team prepares to do its job. What can a contracting officer/product purchaser expect to learn from testing? This presentation will answer these questions and others. Jesse Rosenthal - Bio Jesse Rosenthal is Test Coordinator for the Resources Information Technology Program Office (RITPO) within the Department of Defense Military Health System. Jesse is experienced in DoD Test and Evaluation activities, including test planning, test facilitation, test script execution, and test reporting. He is also experienced in design of multi-project metrics collection strategy and analysis, and requirements management, including development of requirements traceability matrices and associated test designs. Jesse has been responsible for leading organizations to satisfactory completion of Software Capability Evaluation at SEI/CMM Level 2 Maturity. Jesse has developed training in overall project management, software quality assurance, requirements management, and configuration management. He is an ASQ Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence and Software Quality Engineer, and currently serves on the ASQ 0511 Board as Newsletter Editor and Publicity Committee Chair. ------------------------------------------------------- Reservations: Email programs13@asq0511.org by Monday 14 January 2008 to register for this dinner meeting and presentation.
