Good to Great Process Improvement
Gerard Dache
Gerard Dache is an accomplished consultant and advisor. His areas of expertise are CMMi and ISO consulting.
Short Narrative/Description:
- In his bestselling book“Good to Great”, Jim Collins describes the drivers that propel some organizations to soar above their competitors. He compared “great” companies that outperformed their “good” competitors by 56 fold. In fact, if you would have invested $1 in the “good to great” companies in 1965, you could have pocketed $471 in 2000. Process Improvement (PI) professionals routinely talk about the benefits or process improvements and doing things better, faster and cheaper. During this presentation, the principles common to great organization will be compared and contrasted to 30 actual CMMI based process improvement programs.
