ASQ Certification: The Basics and Benefits

Robert Zimman is a past Chair of our section

Short Narrative/Description:

• Do you have an ASQ Certification or are you thinking about trying to get one?
  
• Have you ever wondered about the process ASQ uses to develop Certification exams?

  If so, then you will want to hear this presentation. Mr. Zimman recently participated in an item-writing workshop at ASQ Headquarters for the Certified Quality Auditor exam. Using this presentation he will convey to you the process he learned about and participated in.

Speaker Background:

Mr. Zimman has over forty years of experience and most recently was the Director of Quality Management for NCI Information Systems, Inc., headquartered in Reston, VA. He has a Masters Degree in Quality Systems Management and second in National Security Affairs. He is an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor who recently participated in an item-writing workshop at ASQ Headquarters for the ASQ Certified Quality Auditor exam. Mr. Zimman is also a Senior Member of ASQ and has served two terms as the Chair of ASQ Section 0511.

Cost for dinner is $25.00 per person if reservations are made by the deadline, $30 if otherwise. There is no charge to attend for the presentation only.
