Speaker Background:
- Since joining Freddie Mac in September 2009, Roberta Pek has led the Operational Risk Management Team within Servicing Operations. In that role, Roberta and her team supports risk mitigation activities including Risk and Control Self Assessments, Root Cause Analysis & process assessment leveraging Lean/Six Sigma tools.
- Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Roberta spent ten years with Indy Mac Bank, now know as One West Bank, where she held a variety of positions beginning as a Compliance Officer in the Wholesale Lending Channel and moved through the firm as Vice President in the Six Sigma Project Management Group, ending as First Vice President of Wholesale, Correspondent and Retail Post Closing, Imaging and Government Insuring Operations.
- Prior to that, she was with Greentree Mortgage Corporation, LLC, for fourteen years where she held various management positions, including Director of Training and Vice President of Retail, Wholesale and Credit Union Operations.
- Roberta is a graduate of Rutgers University’s Douglass College with a B.S. in Education. She has earned the Mortgage Banker’s Association’s Certified Mortgage Bankers Designation as well as the American Society for Quality’s Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and the Six Sigma Academy’s Master Black Belt Certification.
