Drive for Quality in China

Gary Coleman, Common Sense Solutions, Vienna

Short Narrative/Description:

Gary is a licensed Lead Appraiser for the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), and recently performed four appraisals in China. He'll relate some of his experiences, and observations on performing appraisals in foreign countries, and China specifically.

Speaker Background:

Gary Coleman received his BS in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and his Masters degree in Systems Engineering from University of Virginia. His earliest jobs involved the improvement of factory automation systems, and statistical quality control systems for factories. He has been leading process improvement efforts, based on ISO-9001 and CMMI standards, for over 20 years. Recently, Gary became associated with consulting firms that support quality and process efforts in companies across China.

Fiona's Irish Pub is built on the rich Irish Spirit that makes a gathering place feel like home. It's authenticity is accentuated by the fresh, original dishes from the proprietor's hometown - Dublin, Ireland.

Reservations:

Cost for dinner is $30.00 per person if reservations are made by the deadline (the Friday before the meeting), $35 if otherwise. There is no charge to attend for the presentation only. To register with or without dinner please use our on line reservation form which can be used up to the Sunday before the meeting. If you wish to make a reservation after the Sunday before the meeting or your plans change, please contact dba15@asq0511.org, and let us know.
